The identification policy for MTEL test administrations has been updated. As part of the identity
verification process, your thumbprint will be taken at the test site. Thumbprints will be used only
for the purpose of identity verification. If you do not provide a thumbprint, you will not be allowed
to test and you will not receive a refund or credit of any kind.
In addition to providing a thumbprint, you must provide the following personal identification at the test administration:
- One piece of current, government–issued identification, in the name in which you registered, bearing
your photograph and signature
- One additional piece of identification (with or without a photograph)
NOTE: You are no longer required to bring a photocopy of your government–issued identification for each test
session for which you are registered.
